He developed his executive career through roles at Brazilian clubs, including Flamengo, where he worked in scouting and football management, before becoming Executive of Football at Corinthians. In 2026, he joined Internacional as Executive Director of Football, taking responsibility for key sporting and operational matters.

Fabinho Soldado joined Sport Club Internacional in January 2026 as Executive Director of Football. A former Internacional player and member of the club’s 2006 Libertadores and FIFA Club World Cup-winning squad, he returned to the club two decades later in a senior football-management role. His responsibilities include football operations, squad planning, player recruitment, negotiations, and coordination of the professional football department.

Fabio served as Football Executive at Sport Club Corinthians Paulista in 2024 - 2025, playing a central role in the club’s football administration, including squad planning, recruitment, negotiations and sporting operations.

Fabio Soldado spent 2017–2024 at Flamengo, initially joining the club’s scouting department before becoming head of scouting and later Football Manager from 2021. As a midfielder, Fabinho represented Internacional, Santos, Fluminense, Flamengo, Ponte Preta, Gamba Osaka and Shimizu S-Pulse, among others. His major honours included the 2004 Brazilian Championship with Santos, 2006 Copa Libertadores and FIFA Club World Cup with Internacional, and 2007 Copa do Brasil with Fluminense.

Fabio, as a former President and current Ambassador of the charity organisation, plays a key leadership role in mobilising resources for urgent humanitarian assistance to communities affected by conflict, disasters, and crises. He also supports the implementation of football schools and development programmes, using football as a platform for social inclusion, youth development, and personal growth.
